| ITINERARY |
| Day 1 |
Fly from
London to Montreal, spend one night at the Quality
Hotel Dorval Airport. |
| Day 2 |
Return to the
airport for your flight to Kuujjuaq. On arrival
you will be transferred by float plane to Barnoin Camp
where you will be shown to your cabin.
Accommodation is in comfortable but basic
cabins. There are central showers and toilets
and the main cabin houses the dining room and sitting
room and is very cosy. The Camp is located 900
miles north of Montreal and is above the Arctic
Circle. Your fishing licence will be arranged on
arrival and then you will take an exciting boat trip
on the Barnoin north-end to fish for lake trout, brook
trout and arctic char for the rest of the day. |
Days 3
to 7 |
Each day you
will take a float plane to a different remote location
to fish for arctic char. The fishing guides will
take you to some great fishing pools where you will
fish for Arctic Char in the 10 to 15 lb. range.
A photo air safari is also included to some of the
most beautiful places in the area. The fishing
day normally starts at about 8.30 and you will return
to the camp at 1800.

| ACCOMMODATION |
| RAPID LAKE LODGE |
| Rapid Lake Lodge is situated in remote
Northern Quebec, 800 miles from Montreal, 180 miles north of Schefferville
and 90 miles south-east of Kuujjuaq. The camp is located at the
northern edge of the boreal forest. The region is particularly known
for dense herds of caribou and exceptional rivers for fishing speckled
trout, lake trout and landlocked salmon. In July, the Rapid Lake is
also the departure point for photo air safaris. The accommodation is
particularly comfortable. |
| BARNOIN RIVER CAMP |
| Barnoin River Camp is located in remote
Northern Quebec, 900 miles north of Montreal, 250 miles from Schefferville
and 100 miles east of Kuujjuaq. Ungava Bay is less than 25 miles
north of the camp. A very short flight takes you to superb fishing
sites where you will catch the remarkable Arctic char, as well as
spoeckled trout, sea trout and lake trout. The accommodation is
comfortable. |

| This area of Quebec is renowned for its salmon rivers,
stunning scenic coastal drives and the freshest sea food available. |

| GRANDE CASCAPEDIA |
| Grande Cascapedia is one of the ten best known salmon rivers
of the world. The chance of catching a fish over 2Olbs is excellent, with many over 40lbs.
Much of the water on the river is private, and we are delighted to offer some fishing on the
river through Camp Brulé. |
| PETITE CASCAPEDIA |
| Petite Cascaedia has a good run between 8 and 13lbs, with many
fish over 20lbs. The River is also well known for its run of Sea Trout, 6-10lbs in July.
There are 45 pools over 20 miles 10 are private. This is excellent wading water. Good
dry fly-fishing from 14 July. |
| BONAVENTURE |
| Bonaventure is a superb salmon river flowing into the Baie des
Chaleurs. Most of the river is public. A normal run is around 2,000 salmon with the average
fish 10lbs; 30% are grilse with many fish over 20lbs. Fishing on the 94 pools is from a canoe
or by wading and is normally excellent in August. Grilse come into the river in late July
together with a run of Sea Trout. |

| CAMP BRULÉ (GRANDE AND PETITE CASCAPEDIA, AND
BONAVENTURE) |
| The lodge was built as a private club in 1893 and is in a
lovely setting on a private salmon pool on the Petite Cascapedia. It accommodates 20 in
12 rooms with shared bathrooms. Food is excellent and sitting/dining rooms comfortable. |

| YORK |
| One of the most beautiful salmon rivers in the Gaspé, easy
wading and gin clear! Fish average 14 lbs. 25 per cent of the salmon caught are over 20
lbs, with a number of fish in the 30-40lb range. The river has 53 pools, some of which
are private. The York River fishes well throughout the season with excellent dry
fly-fishing in August. |
| DARTMOUTH |
| Dartmouth has crystal clear water. Fish average 12 lbs, but
there are plenty in the 20-30lb range. The river has 32 pools, some of which are
private. Dry fly-fishing is good at the end of July and August. |
| ST JEAN |
| The river has a well-deserved reputation as one of the Gaspé’s
finest salmon rivers and is magnificent dry fly water. The fish are not large by Gaspé
standards - 12 to 16lbs - but fight spectacularly. Fishing is good throughout the
season. |

| MATAPEDIA |
| A major tributary of the famous Restigouche, the Matapedia
deserves a respected place among the top salmon rivers of the world. Salmon are plentiful and
the chance of catching a salmon between 20 and 30lbs is excellent. There are 104 recognised
pools and most of the fishing is from a canoe. Only two small sections are private.
There is excellent dry fly-fishing after the first week of July. |
