| SKEENA RIVER SYSTEM |
| Skeena River System is one of the world's special fishing
destinations with its stocks of salmon and steelhead together with fishing in outstanding
scenery. The Copper River offers some of the best steelhead fly-fishing water in the
area. Fishing for steelhead is regarded by many as the ultimate challenge,
pound-for-pound they match any other game fish for their fighting qualities. Heli-fishing
to remote rivers is highly rewarding and can be arranged from each of the featured lodges. |

| THE TYEE CLUB |
| A style of fishing unique to Campbell River; the river estuary is
fished in a small rowing boat using light tackle, an artificial lure and a single hook with
the hope of landing a "Tyee" (a chinook salmon) in excess of 30lbs. During
certain stages of the tide it is not uncommon to see countless numbers of surfacing fish in
the 30-60lb range and this is when most of the huge fish are landed. Successful anglers
are eligible for membership of the Tyee Club. |
